The Arizona Model Pilot Society flight safety instructors educate and train the Sandra Day O’Conner Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) High School students with model aviation fixed wing flying lessons. Courses include the instructing basics of flight, properly setting up a model aircraft, performing pre-flight checks and educating the students through a series of flight maneuvers to qualify for graduation.
The Arizona Model Pilot Society continues with Cadet flight instruction from any AZWG squadron. Instructor Pilots from the Arizona Model Pilot Society will train and educate RC fixed wing and multi rotor functional drones until solo skill level is reached.

Caleb B. is an AMPS member and a Life Scout in Troop 526. He has been a member of our club since age 14. Caleb proposed to the AMPS Board a project to complete his Eagle Scout award/badge for an AMPS flagpole replacement and Club metal etched history board.
Caleb began raising money for supplies and labor on his GOFUND Me WEB page to complete this project. After the foundation settled it was time to raise our flag
AMPS is proud of Caleb and his Troop for all of the hard work they put in. They came together on a project a huge positive for our club and community.
