Joining AMPS

The first step in joining AMPS is to obtain membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics. To fly at the AMPS field you must be an AMA member. Next, complete the AMPS membership application that is linked on this page. Please make sure you complete all blanks on the application. If you have just joined the AMA, you can leave your AMA number blank. You will need to provide that number when you receive it from the AMA. 

AMPS communicates with its members via email. Please make sure you include a current email address. When completing and submitting the application you agree to abide by the club operational and safety rules.

AMPS Membership Application. The application includes AMPS Safety Rules and the address to mail the application. 

New members pay a $125 initiation fee and $100 annual dues. Existing members currently pay $100 annual dues. Dues are due November 1st of each year and are considered late after January 31st. 

New members who join after September 1st pay $225.00 and it includes dues for the upcoming membership year.
